About Homewood Metalworks Inc.
We are located off of 701 North 2 miles outside of Conway SC and 3 miles off of Highway 22. We operate out of a 10,000 square foot warehouse where we have a fleet of site work, construction vehicles and heavy equipment ready for utility installation and construction projects. We have constructed subdivisions, churches, industrial parks, machine shops, garages, skating arenas, and strip malls. Our company begins the design phase for our customers at the "kitchen table". The many years of construction experience of our team enables us to match the needs of our customer to design feasibility and code.

Commercial Construction
Homewood Metalworks, Inc. is a design build contractor for all your commercial construction needs. We are a Certified Authorized Gulf States Dealer and have been in the Top 20 Sales for 5 years running. In 2007 Gulf States was bought by Nucor Corporation, a Forbes #1 America's Best Big Companies Honor Roll 2006.

Our Staff
James (Jimmy) A. Hardwick, Jr., owner and president of Homewood Metalworks, Inc., is very active in every endeavor of the day to day works of the business. Jimmy has a long history of projects completed in Horry and Georgetown County with a solid reputation among business leaders and people in the community. Sylvia H. Shelley, is our office manager and human resource coordinator. Call Sylvia for additional information about our company. Robert Lewan, project manager, has lived in Myrtle Beach SC since 1993. He is a licensed residential homebuilder with education from the University of Minnesota with a degree in business. Danny Kennedy, project manager over our utility field work comes to us from the city of Conway, SC with over 25 years experience with water & sewer projects. We have 18 full time employees and a large base of sub-contractors for all phases of construction. We employ legal minorities at Homewood Metalworks, Inc and most of our suppliers are local.
